From the Pastoral Care and Wellbeing Coordinator

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope that the week has been progressing well for you. As you were notified by Mr Locascio last Friday (by email and in the newsletter), we are beginning a transition that, we hope, will culminate in a return to full time schooling sometime in the near future. At  this stage, the following Attendance Roster is in place commencing next Monday, May 11.

Week 3 Year Group Attendance Roster

Students in Years 7 to 11 are required to attend school on their rostered days only. During this time, students will attend their scheduled lessons. Any unscheduled students who attend school will attend their normal timetabled classes.

Hygiene

A number of initiatives will be in place for the changes next week. These will include access for all staff and students to hand sanitiser, which will be located in a number of locations around the College campus.

Uniform and Grooming

Apart from attendance and hygiene, I would also like to take this opportunity to remind families and students about the uniform change to winter uniform, as well as our ongoing expectations regarding uniform and grooming. If you are unsure, please click onto the following link MCCC Uniform and Grooming Expectations

Again, your support and patience throughout this challenging time has been greatly appreciated. As we slowly return to some form of “normality” it is important that our routines and expectations whilst on site are in line with usual expectations as a means of providing a smooth transition back to face to face learning.
