Congratulation to our Bill Turner Girls

On Monday 16th May, the U15 girls Bill Turner Trophy team defeated Cecil Hills High School 5-0. It was a fantastic effort by all players who showed excellent team work, dedication and enthusiasm on the field. There was outstanding goal scoring from Jess and Alissiah, scoring 2 goals each and Veronique with the final goal. This doesn’t shadow the excellent work from our midfielders Mia, Sarah and Dom who assisted play. Our defence was strong and held the ball and our goal keeper Lara showed true commitment in keeping a clean sheet. This now places the girls in the quarter finals. Well done team!  Thank to Ms Valastro and Ms Heath for coaching these girls.

Bill Turner Boys Result

The boys fought bravely, but unfortunately came up short against a very strong St. Greg's team. Down 1-0 for most of the game, the boys were in it till the very end. As they pushed for a late equaliser, St Greg's were able to seal their victory. With only two substitutes, the boys showed tremendous skill, athleticism and endurance over the 1 hour long match, on what was a warm and sunny afternoon. Congratulations to all the boys on their efforts. Thanks to Mr Sullivan and Mr Dailsay for offering their time to coach this team.
