Vinnies Essentials Kits

Those who are trapped in poverty or facing crises often encounter limited choices, leaving them in a difficult position of prioritising between heating their homes, paying rent, buying food, or maintaining personal hygiene.

As a College, we can gather and create essentials kits to aid those in need. Each year group will be responsible for the donation of particular items. YMLs and Carmelite Captains will be visiting pastoral classes to collect donations next week on:

MCCC Knitting Club

Students have been busy working on amazing creations in the library and recess and lunch on Thursdays. We have just created our first blanket with support from Mrs Marchand who stitched the squares together.

If any parents, guardians or carers have any pre-loved wool and knitting needles lying around that can be donated, our knitting and crocheting community would really appreciate it.
