Assistant Principal
As has been the case almost every week so far this term, we have again witnessed a range of initiatives, activities and events that have been held to support the learning, wellbeing and faith formation of our community. The past week has seen:
- Year 10 PASS Students support the running of the Holy Family Athletics Carnival.
- Marist Super Connect afternoon and evening on Wednesday, which saw over 120 students from Marist schools across Sydney meet at MCCC.
- Year 7 Parent Literacy Night on Wednesday night.
- Year 10 Food Tech incursion on Thursday.
- Year 12 VET Hospitality excursions on Thursday and Friday.
- Years 11 & 12 reports finalised and being written.
- Harmony Day celebration during lunch and Lesson 5 earlier today.
Thanks to all staff and students for their contribution towards the preparation, presentation and participation in each of these events.
Next week will also see more opportunities beyond the classroom that will support the holistic education of our students. These include:
- Year 7 Camps (2 groups between Monday and Wednesday)
- Marist Basketball Championships at the Gold Coast (Sunday to Thursday)
- Diocesan Rugby League selection trials (Wednesday)
- Year 12 Visual Arts “Art Express” excursion on Wednesday
- Whole College Liturgy on Holy Thursday.
Again, thanks in advance to all those involved with the organisation and participation with these upcoming events.
Thanks also to all parents and carers for your ongoing support with the faith, learning and wellbeing of all students. Please do not hesitate to contact your son or daughter’s respective Year Coordinator or Pastoral Advisor should you have any questions or require support.
