The Catholic Mission launch for this October has been presented at St Michaels Parish School at in which we, Lovinia Camasosa and Katiana Gramelis (Murray Vice Captains) have been given the opportunity to attend. It was an interactive experience, first attending mass, then for morning tea. Alongside, we were able to immerse ourselves in the joyous and uniting atmosphere. We like to thank Mrs Meharg who helped organised the event that gave us an engaging experience in taking initiative. While we also had the privilege to speak with Bishop Brian Mascord and students within the diocese including St Patricks and John Therry, advocating for the love of work through the mission of ‘Socktober’. This will be promoted throughout the school through initiatives by this year’s house captains. Together we embrace the vision in assisting other communities such as Mongolia, and enhance the sense of discipleship of one another. Our school is ultimately proud to be supporting the week of Catholic Mission in Mongolia during World Mission Month 2024.
