I have just been advised by Envision Hands that they are no longer taking the lids we have been collecting as they have been inundated and are unable to process any more.

Since we began this initiative during Lent, we have collected 5 large recycling bins full of lids contributing to the 2 million lids they have received, with their target being 1 million.

I would like to thank all the staff, students, parents and Mount Carmel community for their support as it was overwhelming and humbling to see this initiative succeed 
in the way that it did.
