24 Hour Fight Against Cancer
Campbelltown Athletics Centre will be the place to be on the 19 and 20 October when it proudly hosts the annual 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur event. The 24 hour walk is the major fundraising event for the Fight Against Cancer with all money raised providing much needed funding to assist with supporting cancer services in Macarthur through the purchasing of additional equipment.
The students of Mount Carmel SRC have created a team which will be participating in the event from the start on Saturday (10am) to the end of the event on Sunday. There will be no staff supervision of this event by the College, however if you would like to attend the day on behalf of the Mount Carmel Team, you can liaise on the ground with Anthony Wicks, of Year 11 to walk with the team. The event starts at 10am at Campbelltown Athletics Stadium (Leumeah). Registration for walkers is 16 dollars and the team name is Mount Carmel.
Alternatively, if you would like to donate on behalf of the student team, there is a link on the website to the donations page: https://24hrfight.org.au/donate/. You can make a donation on behalf of yourself or the Mount Carmel team. You can email Miss Toogood at toogoodr01@dow.catholic.edu.au for any additional information.
